General Questions

How are perishable orders packaged for shipping?

Each Double R Ranch Co. steak and roast leaves our warehouse blast frozen.  We specially hand pack each individual order to ensure that your products are received in optimal condition. Each package includes a re-usable insulated cooler and frozen gel packs to maintain the appropriate temperature for your product(s) during shipping.  Beef will arrive either frozen or chilled.

What is the Double R Ranch Co. guarantee policy?

We offer a 100% guarantee on all of our products. The Double R Ranch Co. will gladly refund or replace any product that does not meet your expectations.

Where is the Double R Ranch?

 The "Double R Ranch," is located in the Okanagan region of Washington State. The ranch sits on over 100,000 pristine acres and is not only recognized for producing high quality cattle, but also for its commitment to animal well-being and environmental stewardship, the preservation of this picturesque land and native wildlife, and the recycling of resources to create a model for sustainable beef production that can be passed to future generations. While not all cattle originate from the ranch, The Double R Ranch is the "heart and soul" of our company.

Can my steaks and roasts be re-frozen?

Partially defrosted beef may be refrozen.

Refreezing of completely defrosted beef is not usually recommended because the quality of the beef may deteriorate between the time of thawing and refreezing.

We recommend that you immediately freeze any beef that won’t be used within a few days.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Premium Shipping: The Double R Ranch Co. Premium Shipping consists of two day delivery via Fed Ex or UPS. To receive shipments within two days, deliveries must be received by 12 pm Eastern, Monday through Wednesday. Premium shipping for orders received after 12 pm EST on Wednesday, will be shipped the following Monday. Saturday deliveries are not available.

*An additional surcharge is applicable for cast iron products due to their weight. This amount is identified in the specified product’s description.

Express Deliveries: For overnight orders to be received the next day, your order must be received by 12 pm Eastern, Monday through Thursday. Overnight orders are charged according to weight and zone of delivery. Charges will be calculated during check-out. Premium shipping for orders received after 12 pm EST on Thursday, will be shipped the following Monday. Saturday deliveries are currently not available.

Double R Ranch Co. delivers within the United States with the exception of Puerto Rico, Guam and other U.S. territories. At this time, we are unable to process international orders or deliver to PO and APO/FPO Boxes.

Does my package need to be signed for ?

Due to the perishable nature of the products, all of our packages are sent with no receipt required. The custom boxes are clearly marked "Perishable." We recommend that you notify gift recipients that the package will be arriving.
